Our next meeting will be held on March 15th. We were able to engage Mr. Douglas Cooper who will be in the United States during March. We did not want to pass up this opportunity and, consequently , changed our previously announced program so that we may meet and hear this distinguished scholar and lecturer. Mr. Cooper's subject will be "The Later Work of Braque and Picasso" and his talk will be accompanied by slides. Mr. Douglas Cooper presently resides in Grad, France. He is an art historian, critic, author, and lecturer. He was formerly Slade professor of Fine Arts at Oxford and lecturer at the Courtauld Institute of Art. He is the author of many books on art and artists including Klee, Turner, Gris, Leger, Degas, and Van Gogh.
