The 34th Annual Exhibition entitled, "The Small Scale in Contemporary Art" features 125 small works by artists like Carl Andre, Kathy Calderwood, Herbert Ferber, Willem de Kooning, Lee Garrett, Alexander Liberman, Nam June Paik, Roy Lichtenstein, Lucio Pozzi, John Pittman, Robert Ryman, and Andy Warhol. This year, Steel-Aluminum Plain by Carl Andre was selected as the gift of the Society to The Art Institute of Chicago. For this exhibition all of the works of art are for sale through the participating galleries; a special catalog of the exhibit was prepared with an introduction by New York Art Critic, Peter Frank. Mr. Frank has written for Art News, Art in America, Art Gallery, and Architecture Plus. All participating artists and artists from the immediate area are being invited to attend the opening.
