We are happy to have as our guest speaker, Cynthia McCabe who mounted the recent Hirshhorn Bicentennial show, "The Golden Door: Artist Immigrants of America, 1876-1976". This exhibit included works by Albers, Hofmann, Moholy-Nagy, Mondrian and Rothko. Mrs. McCabe will discuss the influence of these immigrant artists on contemporary American art. She will be concentrating on the post World War II period.
