Lecture
The Art Institute of Chicago

An informal meeting of the Society was held in the galleries of the museum where the Steiglitz collection was on exhibition, and Georgia O'Keefe was present. Mr. Ludgin opened the meeting by expressing our appreciation in having Georgia O'Keefe with us, saying that she preferred not to speak, Mr. Rich would discuss the exhibition. Mr. Rich spoke of Mr. Steiglitz and his interest in photography and painting, and proceeded to read an article written by Georgia O'Keefe about her husband. At the conclusion she stated that the Chicago Art Institute was to the recipient of some of the paintings in the exhibit. Mr. Rich added that this was the first announcement of this gift to the Institute.
