John Baldessari

As a member of the Society, you have the privilege of staying in the forefront of events in Contemporary Art. Our guest this month is the leader of one of the current movements in contemporary art. John Baldessari, artist, professor, critic will be our guest speaker. Mr. Baldessari is a recognized artist who shows worldwide. His work is in the collections of major collectors and museums. Of significant importance is his impact as a teacher on younger artists such as David Salle and Cindy Sherman, who have used television and all that this medium means in their art. Mr. Baldessari could be considered the father of this group.
