Refco Group, Ltd. Collection Tour

Our first event for the new year will be an exciting variation of our normal meeting format. The Society?s members will have the opportunity to tour the Refco Group?s unique corporate art collection. The Refco Group started its corporate collection in 1976. The names of the artists represented in the Collection read like roster of the outstanding contemporary artists of the past 30 years. There are 375 works in the Collection representing all phases of contemporary art ? sculpture, painting, drawing, graphics, installations and photography. The quality of the work is unsurpassed and many of the works have appeared on loan in various exhibitions around the world. We will have a private tour of this outstanding collection conducted by Mrs. Frances Dittmar, the Collection?s Curator and Mr. Adam Brooks, Associate Curator.
