Please join us for an exciting day in Oak Brook for our Fall kickoff program. We will see an extensive corporate collection, followed with a lecture by New York artist, Peter Halley, concluding with lunch at the Drake Oakbrook Hotel. Richard Cooper has invited us to his investment company?s headquarters to view works which include Keifer, Salle, Noland, Stella, Koons, Jasper Johns and more recent acquisitions by Carroll Dunham, Ford Beckman, George Condo, and Peter Halley. The depth in the collection is evidenced by the Schnables ? said to be the largest assembled in the world. The COOPERFUND collection includes many works by Peter Halley, an artist who has risen to international prominence from a start in New York?s East Village, exhibiting in 1994, at Bruno Bischofberger Gallery, Zurich, Switzerland; Lia Rumma, Naples, Italy and UCLA/Armand Hammer Museum of Art, Los Angeles. He will review the development of his work and his recent fiberglass relief sculptures.
